Tulum, Mexico, Part 3

And then a couple of shots from the pueblo (town) at Pollo Bronco, an awesome, cheap restaurant serving wood grilled chicken, fresh tortillas, spicy salsa, and cabbage slaw.  Simple and amazing.

Tulum, Mexico, Part 2

And here are the ruins!

Tulum, Mexico

Brandy and I just got back from Tulum, Mexico.  Wow.  It is absolute paradise.  Wished I could've stayed longer.  Definitely could have done another week. Didn't take any food shots on this trip (just have the memories), but I will do a run of posts from the hotel/beach and the ruins.

First up, the hotel, Playa Azul.  Well, that and the beach, too, since we could literally walk out of our cabana onto the beach.  It was amazing.

Restaurant view from our porch
Ocean view (and the hammock) from our porch

The beach
Another shot from the porch - because I love all of the plants
The awesome lizard painting on our cabana wall.  (There were lizards on the porch often.)
The beautiful trunk that served as our safe
Some cool seaweed at sunset
Birds on the beach at sunset
Coral that washed up on the beach
A ceremonial site that randomly appeared one night?
A close-up of the ceremonial coral and rocks
Locals fishing at sunset...both the people and the birds
Another shot from the porch, that time with a relaxed Brandy and a much bluer and calmer ocean
